Bringing a book festival to life is a lot of work and a special balancing act. You have to offer something “traditional” (books and authors, of course) while also trying to provide enough novelty so that attendees who visited in the past decide they want to come again. If you are looking for something new and original to do in Louisville, you are in the right spot!
This year, the Louisville Book Festival is excited to announce that we’re having bookish vendors who will have all kinds of cool literary-themed items for sale. We know that people who love books a lot also tend to love anything book-related, whether that be stickers, ornaments, t-shirts, bookmarks, journals, mugs, earrings, and so on.
Plus, having vendors is great for people who may not love solely shopping for books to add a little more excitement to their shopping bag. Even if you aren’t a book lover, you definitely know or live with one, and will likely need to purchase a gift for that person at some point during the year.
The vendors below have been carefully selected. We are proud to highlight their work, and we encourage our community to come out and support these small businesses. Stop by each booth to see and share their high-quality creative merchandise. We’re so excited to have them join us.
